A BlankTV Premiere Presentation:
Until Dawn - "Horizon"
Until Dawn's intense energy, intoxicating guitar riffs along with their lively stage shows has shown that their location in the remote northern depths of Fort McMurray, Alberta will not slow them down. Mixing the sound of modern metal and classic rock, brothers Luke and Deke Worrell, with Adam MacLeod and Steve White have created a sound appealing to both young and old alike.
This modern sound with a classic throwback was evident in their self-titled debut that was released in early 2011, with their hit single "Table and The Plastic", which was on steady rotation at local Fort McMurray station Rock 97.9FM. The debut was then followed two years later with the band's monster sophomore album 'Horizon' in August 2013.
Since that release, Until Dawn has enjoyed great success from their hard work and determination. Pushing hard with touring in their home province plus local praise from their home town station Rock 97.9 FM naming them #4 on the Top 20 Metal/ Hard Rock Albums released last year.
Now in 2014, Until Dawn are setting new plans to tour and bring their music to larger audiences in Canada and around the world, having already performed at past festivals in Alberta and sharing the stage with such as acts as rock legends KISS, Volbeat, Billy Talent, A Day To Remember, Hell Yeah, 3 Inches of Blood, Striker, All Else Fails and Fozzy. All in all, Until Dawn is melodic metal at its finest, and this is just the beginning.
