A BlankTV Premiere Presentation:
Beretta Suicide - "Changes?!"
Big riffs. Soaring solos. Pounding drums and duelling vocals. This is the sound of Leeds through the eyes of 3 punk deviants brought up on Sex Pistols, Motorhead, Ramones, Wildhearts and booze…
Beretta Suicide are a fiery 3-piece from Leeds (UK) on a mission to bring the danger and honesty back to Rock n Roll. Fiercely independent, they tell stories of the highs and lows of life from the dirty streets and dark bars of Leeds.
Joey K (Lead vocals / Bass), Joe Clements (Guitar) and Pert (Drums) met in 2011 following an online ad posted by Pert looking for band members “sick of the safe and sterile music scene”. The three bonded over their love of tattoos and low slung guitars knowing straight away they'd found their gang, their brotherhood.
Their debut self titled EP found its way into blogs and zines and got an enthusiastic reception. Growing interest in the band lead to support slots with Zico Chain, Sorry & the Sinatras (feat. members of the Wildhearts, Black Halos and Ginger’s band), Glitterati, The Plight, UK Subs, Max Raptor, Dead City Ruins and the Computers to name just a few…
Beretta Suicide have sold out The Water Rats Theatre in London on their own and have toured Europe supporting The Misfits.
Their debut album takes influence from bands such as The Wildhearts, The Ramones, The Sex Pistols, Guns n Roses and Motorhead. Firm believers in the old adage ‘If it aint broke, don’t fix it’, Beretta Suicide haven’t reinvented the wheel – but they have experimented with the formula to become a new, leaner and meaner beast. This is Punk Rock with an insatiable hunger and fire in its eyes.
Due to hit the road in support of their release, their live show is quickly gaining a reputation as chaotic - intent on partying like it’s the end of the world. These boys live for nothing else. Have nothing else. Believe in nothing else.
